Zhenghe Silver Needle
Silver Needle from inland Zhenghe rather than coastal Fuding, made from a different Da Bai cultivar and given a longer indoor wither. The result is fuller, darker and more robust than the Fuding version — the clearest cultivar-and-terroir comparison available inside a single tea name.

Fuller and rounder than Fuding Silver Needle, with more colour and more body against a little less floral delicacy. The difference is cultivar and wither, not quality.

Authenticity: Fuding and Zhenghe Silver Needle are both genuine and taste noticeably different. Tea sold simply as 'Silver Needle' is usually Fuding; if the fuller, deeper style is wanted, the county has to be specified.
