Why there is no cookie banner
TeaHQ sets no analytics, advertising or preference cookies, so there is nothing to ask consent for. A banner asking permission for a strictly necessary cookie would be theatre.
Consent is required for cookies that are not essential to providing the service you asked for. The one cookie described below is essential — without it the private-beta gate cannot tell that access was already granted, and you would be locked out of every page.

It is set only while the site is in private beta and an access code has been configured. With no code configured the gate is inert and no cookie is set at all.
What is not set
No Google Analytics or any other analytics. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social-network cookies — there are no embedded widgets. No preference cookies: the site follows your operating system’s light or dark setting rather than storing a choice.
TeaHQ loads no third-party scripts of any kind, and its content security policy allows no third-party host, so no other party is in a position to set a cookie here.
If this changes
If TeaHQ ever adds a non-essential cookie, a consent mechanism will be added at the same time and this page will be updated first. See the privacy page for the broader position.
