Corrections are the most valuable thing you can send. When reporting one, please include:

• the page address
• what is wrong, quoted if possible
• what the correct information is
• where that comes from — a source we can check moves considerably faster

How corrections are handled is set out in the editorial policy. In short: factual corrections are made to the underlying record, so every page reading it is corrected at once, and substantive changes are noted on the page rather than made silently.
