TeaHQ is a reference work about tea. It is not health, medical, dietary or nutritional advice, and it does not publish health content at all. Nothing here should be used to make a decision about a medical condition, a medication, a pregnancy or a diet. Those are questions for a qualified professional.

It is also not a shop, a buying service, an authentication service or a valuation service. TeaHQ sells nothing and has no commercial relationship with any producer or retailer.

TeaHQ takes accuracy seriously and documents its method in the editorial policy and the sources and evidence pages. Much of the site is our own synthesis of widely-attested practice rather than externally sourced evidence, and it is labelled as such where that distinction matters.

Brewing parameters are guidance rather than specification. Tea varies by harvest, storage and preparation, and equipment varies more. Nothing here guarantees a particular result in your cup.

The site is provided as-is. We correct errors when we learn of them and would rather hear about one than not — report a correction.

Text and data on TeaHQ are the property of HEKNO Ltd unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to read, quote and link to it. Reproducing substantial portions, or extracting the catalogue in bulk for redistribution or for training, requires permission.

TeaHQ is currently in private development. Access may be restricted, interrupted or withdrawn at any time, and no availability is guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by law, HEKNO Ltd is not liable for loss arising from reliance on material published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute arising from them falls to the courts of Scotland. HEKNO Ltd is registered in Scotland under company number SC895711.

Shown as an outstanding item rather than filled with a plausible guess. Governing law follows from where the operating company is established, which TeaHQ has not been told.
