Privacy

TeaHQ collects no analytics, runs no advertising, has no accounts and sets one strictly necessary cookie.

The short version

There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, no third-party tracking, no accounts and no newsletter. Nothing you do here is profiled, and nothing is shared with anyone.

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly rather than burying. It is also verifiable: analytics and advertising are switched off in configuration and are additionally forced off while the site is in private beta, and the build refuses to certify if either is enabled.

What is collected

Nothing you type. The tea finder, comparison tool and brew assistant work entirely through the page address — your selections appear in the URL and are processed to render the page. They are not stored, logged against you, or associated with any identifier.

Standard server logs. Like any website, requests may be recorded by the hosting infrastructure — IP address, time, page requested, browser type. These exist for security and reliability. TeaHQ does not use them to build a profile of any visitor.

Cookies

One cookie, named teahq_beta, set only while the site is in private beta and only if an access code has been configured. It holds a signed value confirming access was granted — never the access code itself — and it is strictly necessary for the gate to work.

No analytics, preference or advertising cookies are set. The cookies page covers this in more detail.

Third parties

TeaHQ loads no third-party scripts, no fonts from external services, no embedded video, no social widgets and no advertising networks. The content security policy allows no third-party host, which is enforced rather than promised.

Hosting infrastructure necessarily processes requests in order to serve pages, and a provider will typically retain server logs containing IP addresses for a short period as a matter of course. TeaHQ is not yet publicly hosted and has no hosting contract in place, so there is no provider to name here. When one is engaged it will be named on this page before the site is made public, not afterwards.

Your rights

TeaHQ holds no personal data about visitors that it could retrieve, correct or delete on request, because it collects none. If you believe otherwise, or want to ask about server logs held by the hosting provider, contact us through the contact page.

Changes

If TeaHQ ever adds analytics, advertising, accounts or any third-party service, this page will be updated before that change takes effect rather than after, and the change will be stated rather than left to be noticed.
