Nothing. No taste, no colour, no aroma. A drinker has no route to it.

What it is

Manganese is among the elements the tea plant accumulates in quantity, and tea is frequently cited as a notable dietary source of it for that reason. On this site the interest is compositional. Like fluoride and aluminium it rises with leaf age, so the same plucking-standard gradient applies, and it is reasonably water-soluble so a fair share of it enters the infusion. It has no sensory presence whatever. Its practical relevance to a drinker is that it is one more member of a group of soil-derived elements whose level in a tea is decided in the field and by the picker rather than by anything a maker or a brewer does.

Taken up from soil and accumulated in the leaf, increasing with leaf age. Levels vary with soil and origin more than with the type of tea produced.

Reasonably water-soluble, with extraction rising with temperature and time as it does for the other soluble minerals.

Water: Present in most drinking water already, in amounts that vary by supply. As with fluoride, that makes the cup and the leaf two different measurements, and a leaf figure alone does not describe what anybody drank.

Leaf, ratio and agitation: Extracts steadily rather than early, so total leaf quantity and total contact time matter more than the temperature does.

Where this gets misdescribed

That mineral content is a mark of quality or of origin character. These elements track soil and leaf age; nothing about them is tasted, and a tea is not better for carrying more.
