Huoshan vs Yuan’an
Two of the handful of places where yellow tea is still made, distinguished by what goes into the smothering step. Huoshan takes a fine bud pluck; Yuan’an takes spring leaf and makes Yuan’an Lu Yuan, and the difference in raw material changes what the men huang step has to do.

The short answer
Between them they show that yellow tea is not one thing: the category is defined by a single step, and that step behaves differently on a bud than on a leaf. Anyone who has only met the bud style has met the delicate half of it.
